Cancellation policy, No Show and missed payments
By making a reservation for an activity, excursion or party, you accept their cancellation and no-show conditions (if you do not show up), as well as other additional terms and conditions that may affect your reservation.
A “No Show” is known as not showing up for the reserved tour without prior notice, or communicating your intention not to attend within a period of less than 24 hours from the date of the tour.
Please note that a reservation that requires the payment of a deposit or payment in advance (in whole or in part) may be canceled (without prior notice) when said deposit has not been paid on its corresponding date.
The amount of the reservation paid for a specific activity or tour can under no circumstances be used for another tour or activity. In the event that a member of a group does not attend a tour, the reservation cannot be used to cover remaining amounts of people who attend the tour.
Depending on whether you have obtained cancellation insurance or not, cancellations will be managed as follows:
Having contracted cancellation insurance during the reservation process:
If the client cancels a tour more than 24 hours before the contracted tour date, a full refund of the reservation will be made to the same card or means of payment with which it was paid. It is not necessary to present medical or other supporting documents to cancel.
There are NO additional charges for "No Show". If you do not show up or cancel within 24 hours of the tour, you will not be charged the remaining amount of the tour
The amount paid for cancellation insurance will not be refunded.
NOT having contracted cancellation insurance during the reservation process:
If the client cancels a tour, a refund of the reservation paid will NOT be made under any circumstances.
If the client cancels a tour less than 24 hours before the contracted tour date, the remaining amount of the tour will be charged for No Show.
Date modifications, due to weather and other reasons of force majeure beyond Punta Kana Tours.
Depending on whether you have obtained cancellation insurance or not, the modifications will be managed as follows:
Having contracted cancellation insurance during the reservation process:
The client may modify the date of the contracted tour by giving at least 24 hours notice before the date on which it takes place. This applies to a maximum of 2 date changes.
If the tour is forced to change dates due to weather reasons, the client decides whether or not they can do it on the new date, and if they cannot do it, they can request cancellation and get 100% of the reservation paid. If the date can be moved, the tour will take place on the new date.
NOT having contracted cancellation insurance during the reservation process:
The client may NOT modify the date of the contracted tour in any case.
If the tour is forced to change dates due to weather reasons (always justified by ONAMET), a new ticket will be sent to the client with the new tour date. In this case, if the client can do it on the new date, it will be done as normal. In the event that the client does not have availability for the new date, they have the right to cancel with a refund of the reservation paid.
Payment of the remaining amount of a tour by bank card
Payment of the remaining amount of the contracted services can be made in some cases by credit or debit card at the destination, but in this case, this form of payment carries a supplement of 10% to 18% of the remaining amount to be paid depending on the recipient, due to the fees imposed by the payment gateways of the bank in question.
